File Type Guide

JPG – Designed for online, screen resolution. Compression is optimized for text and graphics. This file can be used for power points, HTML emails, websites, or other on screen mediums. This file type cannot be scaled any larger than the existing file.

PNG – This is a higher quality image used for online or print projects. This file includes transparency. This file type cannot be scaled any larger than the existing file.

EPS – File format used for printing to PostScript printers. Offset printers use this file type. This file is also used for signage or other graphic-reproduction projects. Only graphics applications such as Illustrator can open this file. Scaling to any size is possible with this file.
